This is dreadful news for the festival but we can still make enough money to run NXNW2010 if we all pull together! 4% funding cuts to the arts councils budget is the key reason for the loss of the money.  Finance officer Sean Doherty said: "We've attempted to ask for a more professional amount of money this year to pay the acts and some of our volunteers who are giving up working time for us during the actual festival, but its been really bad timing in this financial climate"

North By North Western Arts Festival presents a special BANK HOLIDAY Easter Sunday Silent Disco! The music will be in the usual format using 2-channel wireless headphones, featuring Dance/House/Electro from Brainfood & Collision DJs, Vs Indie/Rock&Roll/Soul from Northern Lights DJs.

Fancy Dress is not compulsory but there will be a prize for the best costume! There will also be free easter eggs/easter egg hunt. Entry is £5, with a £5 refundable deposit for the headphones. Doors 10pm til late.
