Elizabeth Atherton is currently studying Embroidery at Manchester Metropolitan University. This course allows her to explore a love of texture, line and detail that is centred around, but not limited to, stitch. She uses a vast range of materials including pencil, raw wool, glue, and tissue paper, to create mixed media pieces that often explore issues of memory and representation.
